WELCOME
Woodford is a tranquil fishery set on a 7-acre site. Situated in Carrickfergus, an historic Co. Antrim town, the fishery offers value-for-money fly-fishing for both the beginner and more experienced angler. In addition to the main fly fishing lake, there is a smaller bait lake for worm-only fishing.
Weekly stocking of fish takes place all year round with fish from 1lb 8oz up to 17lb. In fact, in recent years, Woodford has become known for regular catches of specimens in the 6 to 10lb bracket. As well as rainbows, golden trout, blues and natural browns can all be taken on fly.
On site, our helpful staff are always on hand to make your fishing experience as enjoyable as possible.
