LOCATION

Carrickfergus is 11 miles north east of Belfast on the the northern shore of Belfast Lough. Take the M5 out of Belfast. This road changes to A2 and goes through Whiteabbey, Greenisland and on to Carrickfergus.

Arriving in Carrickfergus you will see the famous castle in front. Immediately before, turn left onto the B58. Carrying straight on you will pass Tescos and go over the railway bridge. On your left you will see a BP petrol station followed by Woodburn Playing Fields. The fishery is situated behind these playing fields. Go no further but instead, turn left immediately after the playing field railings onto a concrete lane. 200 yards further on, the fishery is on your left.
